Easel Easter Card

I wanted to do an easel card, so I cut the frame backing out of white cardstock, then a top frame out of cream cardstock.  I decorated the card with some eggs, bits of grass and a bunny I cut out with my Silhouette.  I sponged some green grass in ink to make a background and added some glitter glue to the eggs before gluing everything down.  For the sentiment, I die cut a smaller frame and wrote the sentiment (in German) with a glitter pen.  I added a small jewel to help the card stand open.

Easter Card

I started this card with the cardstock I cut a frame out of for another card.  I stretched a piece of loose woven ribbon across the base of the card to act as grass.  I took a piece of white cardstock for the back panel and sponged some grass lines in 2 shades of green ink, and some blue sky with a shade of blue.

I added a rabbit and some easter eggs I'd cut out with my Silhouette.  The bunny I gave an edging of tan ink, the eggs I decorated with glitter glue.  I then glued the panel on.

Flowery Easter Card

If you celebrate Easter, I wish you a very happy one, with lots of chocolate. ;D

I started this card by carefully laying the flower die on the unmarked fold line of the card.  It pops up over the fold line when it's cut.  I then scored and folded the card base.  I coloured the stamped image using spectrum noir markers and die cut it out.  I cut a small printed panel and attached some purple ribbon to it, lacing it through the die cut frame before attaching it behind the panel.  Finally I stamped Happy Easter.

Easter Basket Card

All of the elements for this card were cut out on my Silhouette except for the punched butterfly.

I coloured al the eggs and gave the basket a weave pattern using markers.  I coloured in the basket and bow with pencil crayons and used dye ink on the bunny.  For the panel background, I coloured with various Gelatos on watercolour paper and lightly wet the paper so the colours would join.  Then I added a few more swipes with green to give a grassy feel.  I attached all the elements and hand wrote the sentiment with a gel pen.

Easter Daisy Chain

I started this card by stamping the Daisy Chain Lily of the Valley image I won a few weeks ago.  I went over the lines with various markers and lightly coloured in the image with pencil crayons.  I die cut the passe partout oval out of white wash Core'dinations cardstock and then embossed it with swirls and very lightly sanded it to bring out the pink.

I'd already cut out the bunny, eggs and grass on my Silhouette.  I lightly inked the bunny so it would stand out a bit against the white background, and added some marker to the eggs.  Then I die cut the label, inked it a bit and hand wrote the sentiment.  Finally, I added a few punched butterflies.

Happy Easter!

I made this card a few months back, but I love how it turned out.  I started with a piece of green cardstock and found a panel from a Die Cuts for a View paper pad that had a similar colour in it (the leaves).  I added a sparkly black ribbon to cover the join and a few punched butterflies at the bottom.  The trail and sentiment were done with a black metallic gel marker.

Hope you all have a Happy Easter!

Quick, Sticker Easter Card

This was a card I made quickly last year.  I used a card base I got from a magazine kit, added some Dollar Store stickers (bunny and butterfly), cut a few ovals and decorated them with glitter glue and made a fringe of grass (which, in retrospect I should have cut somewhat to give dimension).

It was quick, easy and looks pretty good.
