Here's another holiday card. I'm submitting it to Simon Says Stamps Anything Goes challenge.
I started this card by die cutting the snowflake out of my white cardstock base. The snowflake goes partly off the page. I then used a piece of glossy cardstock and measured off where it would sit behind the snowflake so I could judge where the elements needed to go. I stamped the trees, snowflakes and Santa's sleight, then used sponges to ink on several shades of blue.
I affixed the panel behind the snowflake cut-out and then stamped the sentiment.

Doily Christmas Tree Card
Merry Christmas, to those in my audience who celebrate it.
This is a simple design and didn't take much time to make but I love how classy it looks. I started out with a gold doily, folding it back and forth so it made a Christmas tree (I trimmed a bit off the top so it would fit after the last turn). I used a black panel for backing, and edged it with ribbon on both sides. I finished it off with a sequin star.

Tree Greetings
I don't use patterned paper very often despite the fact that I own a fair bit of it. So I decided to use some on my Christmas cards this year. I picked out some papers and then coloured images so they'd match. I used pale green, red, gold and dark green on this. The edging was done with a metallic marker.

Season's Greetings Presents
I made this card for the Simon Says Stamp Make It Sparkle Challenge. I took 3 different sized pieces of white cardstock and embossed them for texture. Then I used shiny ribbon to 'wrap' them. I glued them to my card base so they overlap somewhat, and then stamped my sentiment.

Town Season's Greetings
This card took a bit of trial and error to get looking good. I started by die cutting the snowflake out of the main cardstock. I then took mini buildings and trees I'd cut out on my Silhouette and glued them to some cardstock I hand cut into hills and valleys. I added a poinsettia (stamped with a JustRite stamp), with some white cardstock 'greenery' behind it. I finished off the card with a sentiment.

Hello Kitty Skating card
I die cut the skates, cut off the laces and added silver marker accents. I also die cut the little poinsettia accent. There's a strip if mini pompom ribbon and a sentiment from Cas-ual Fridays' Snowflake Greetings.
I'm submitting it to the Simon Says Stamp Ice inspiration challenge.

Lamp Greetings
I started this card by cutting out the lamp with my Silhouette SD. I marked out where the lights would sit on the card and then used a sponge to add yellow ink to those areas on the cardstock.
For decoration, I added some punched greenery, a bow and a tiny poinsettia. I stamped the greeting and then added snow on the bottom. Originally I just had the glitter glue, but then I saw someone do a snowy ground with texture paste and decided to add some to my picture. It gives the round real dimension.

White and Silver Christmas Card
I embossed the snowflake swirl on my card base and die cut an oval. I die cut a hill and glued some buildings and trees that I'd cut out on my Silhouette. After attaching the oval to the base I glued down some silver 'greenery' and a poinsettia flower.

Pine Branch Clean and Simple Christmas Card
I made this card using one of the exclusive Simon Says Stamp sets that came out last year. I love that you can stamp the pine cones separately in a different colour. It makes for easy, clean and simple cards.

Christmas Portal Card
This is a joke card I made for one of my husband's friends. I was looking at the peppermint stamp background and this idea came to me, fully formed. What if the twist were a black hole style portal, and a kitty were being sucked in? I really love how the second kitty is looking down and holding its hands, as if it's just done something bad.

Festive Deer Card
I made this card as a submission for Simon Says Stamp's 'Wrap It Up' Challenge. I patterned it off of this card I found by Donna M on Splitcoast Gallery.
I started out by die cutting and embossing the buck from the Sue Wilson Deer Family die out of a glossy white cardstock. I die cut a piece of black cardstock to frame it. Despite the shading in the picture, the card base is white. I took a piece of Donna K patterned paper for the center panel. I didn't have any blue paper in the shade I wanted for the borders on the panel, so I coloured some white cardstock with a blue marker. I glued the two strips on and made indents in the paper where the white thread would go (if I had silver thread I'd have used that instead for this). I threaded the paper and taped it in place on the back before gluing the panel down. I used pop dots to attach the deer frame to the card.

Christmas in July - Winter Scene
I made this card to try out a new Spellbinders die set I bought to frame scenes, Regal Frame. I started with a piece of glossy paper. I die cut the frame and left the die in place to keep the edges ink free. I then used a ripped piece of paper to help me ink a hill. I stamped the cabin, snowman, trees and sleigh and then used different shades of blue ink to the page.
I die cut a darker blue frame for layering and added some light blue snowflakes. Once the card was layered on the white card base, I dded some white gel pen snowflakes.

Let It Snow Card
Wishing you all the best this New Year, and may 2015 be full of laughter and joy.
For this card I used a new tool, a Crayola marker airbrush. It's a bit less spotty than the hand pump ones you can buy and a LOT less expensive than an actual airbrush system. This was my first experiment with it, making snow drifts. I then stamped some snowflakes and the sentiment.
For the snowman I die cut three circles, punched two branch arms (and trimmed them down), then added a paper nose and rhinestone eyes and tiny nail art jewels for the mouth. I used pop dots to affix the snowman to the card and glue tape to put the white glossy card on the blue cardstock base.

Festive Christmas Bear Card
Wishing you all a Very Merry Christmas.
This is an easel card I made, using a circular die for the base. For the front panel, I used the same outer die, but added an enhancing die to make it fancier. I used a branch punch to make the Christmas tree, then decorated it with punched ornaments and a star. I used nail art tape for the tinsel.
The bear was stamped on white cardstock and coloured with copic & spectrum noir markers. I used stamps to decorate the base and a flower bead and two cut leaves to hold the card open.

Jingle Bells Card
I started this card by printing out some Christmas sheet music on resume paper. I die cut a sleigh out of shimmery brown cardstock, some poinsettias out of red cardstock and greenery out of dark green cardstock. The poinsettias have 3 dots of gold embossing liquid in the center. I layered everything on a cream cardstock base. I probably should have had another layer, possibly behind the sheet music, but ah well.

The First Noel Card
I started with a small sheet music piece printed on cream resume paper. I took two silhouette cut candles and lightly inked the edges, then used a black marker to add in the wick and a orange marker on the yellow flame to show more fire. I glued the flames and melting wax on and then glued the candles together. I glued foliage around the base of the two candles before attaching them to the cream cardstock base.

Mittens Card
Here's another simple card to make. I cut the mittens out of dark red cardstock on my Silhouette (it's a pattern I bought from their store), glued a piece of cord to them, then glued them on the white card base. I hand wrote the sentiment with a glitter gel pen.

Button Bauble Card
The idea for this card came from this one from Beccy's Place.
I used some red nail polish to cover three brownish buttons and set them aside to dry while I stamped the circle pattern and my sentiment. I used a ruler and marker to draw the strings, but should have drawn the bows at this time too (I did them after gluing the buttons down, which is why they're a bit wonky). When the buttons were dry I used a hot glue gun to glue them down along with a gold button and a pearlescent button. Pretty easy!
